RACGAP1 is a Rho-GTPase-activating protein originally discovered in male germ cells to inactivate Rac, RhoA and Cdc42 from the GTP-bound form to the GDP-bound form. GAP has traditionally been known as a tumor suppressor. However, studies increasingly suggest that overexpressed RACGAP1 activates Rac and RhoA in multiple cancers to mediate downstream oncogene overexpression by assisting in the nuclear translocation of signaling molecules and to promote cytokinesis by regulating the cytoskeleton or serving as a component of the central spindle.

Studies have explored the role of neurofilament light chain (NfL) in NSAE and provided inconsistent data. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the NfL levels in the serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with NSAE.

The aim of this study was to compare the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration (LTCBDE) and laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE).
Methods: Relevant literature published before March 30, 2023 in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane was searched to screen studies comparing LTCBDE and LCBDE.
Physical, chemical, and dual modifications can all significantly affect the digestibility of isolated rice granules, while their effects on the starch digestibility of whole cooked rice grains remain elusive. Therefore, the impact of malic acid, ultrasound, and ultrasound + malic acid dual treatment on the starch digestibility of cooked rice grains with different starch molecular structures was investigated in this study. Ultrasound mainly caused cavitation on the surface of rice grains, promoting the leaching of materials (> 11 %) and amylose during cooking.

We evaluated the ability of locked multimodal artificial intelligence (MMAI) algorithms trained on prostate biopsy specimens to predict prostate cancer specific mortality (PCSM) and overall survival (OS) among patients undergoing radical prostatectomy with digitized RP specimens.
