[Gallstone ileus: a rare cause of acute bowel obstruction].

Gallstone ileus is a rare cause of bowel obstruction observed in older persons. The diagnosis is based on computed tomography. Enterolithotomy with or without cholecystectomy and the repair of the fistula is the treatment of choice.
