It is often assumed that higher income contributes to physical health. Indeed, there is a huge amount of research showing a strong significant association between income and health. However, very few studies have used longitudinal data and an objective variable for health, such as morbidity.

If people were asked whether income changes influence self-rated health and morbidity, they would probably answer yes. Indeed, previous studies validated this assumption, but most of them used cross-sectional data and only considered self-rated health as the decisive factor. Successful Management of a Patient with Malignant Thyroid Teratoma.

Background: Malignant thyroid teratomas are rare tumors with a poor prognosis. Little is known about their pathogenesis or treatment. Here, the case is reported of an adult woman with an aggressive thyroid teratoma with primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) malignant transformation, successfully managed with neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery.

Phase II trial of irinotecan and metronomic temozolomide in patients with recurrent glioblastoma.

This phase II study was conducted to determine the efficacy and safety of metronomic temozolomide (TMZ) in combination with irinotecan in glioblastoma (GB) at first relapse. Patients with GB at first relapse received TMZ 50 mg/m/2day divided into three doses, except for a single 100 mg/m2 dose, administered between 3 and 6 h before every irinotecan infusion. Irinotecan was given intravenously at the previously established dose of 100 mg/m2 on days 8 and 22 of 28-day cycles.

Multimodality Treatment of Pediatric and Adult Patients With Ewing Sarcoma: A Single-institution Experience.

Introduction: The treatment of Ewing Sarcoma family of tumors is multimodal, both in children and adults. Axial location and metastases are classic prognostic factors. However, the worse prognosis in older patients is more controversial.
