Development of a Mobile-First Registry to Recruit Healthy Volunteers and Members of Underrepresented Communities for Alzheimer's Disease Prevention Studies.

Background: Web-based participant recruitment registries can be useful tools for accelerating enrollment into studies, but existing Alzheimer's disease (AD)-focused recruitment registries have had limited success enrolling individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. Designing these registries to meet the needs of individuals from these communities, including designing mobile-first, may facilitate improvement in the enrollment of underrepresented groups.

Objectives: Evaluate the usability of a prototype mobile-first participant recruitment registry for AD prevention studies; assess users' perceptions of and willingness to sign up for the registry.

Background And Aim: During the early stage of pandemics, primary health care (PHC) is the first point of contact with the health system for people. This study aimed to find the leading roles and challenges of the PHC system in dealing with the outbreak of infectious diseases.

Methods: The current scoping review was conducted in 2022 using the Arkesy and O'Malley framework.

Surgical management of penoscrotal hypospadias in a child with Opitz G/BBB syndrome: a case report.

Opitz G/BBB syndrome is a rare condition characterized by three significant anomalies; hypertelorism, cleft lip and palate, and hypospadias. However, other anomalies may be associated. Herein, we report a 4-year-old child presented with penoscrotal hypospadias.

Role of microsurgical free flap reconstruction in managing complex wound: a retrospective cross-sectional study.

Introduction: while reconstruction of complex wounds with severe tissue defects has been a significant problem in plastic surgery, free flap microsurgical procedures could solve many of these problems. In Yemen, data regarding free flap microsurgery for complex wounds are scarce. This study aimed to share our microsurgery experiences in repairing complex wounds using different free flaps in a resource-limited setting.
