[Can we be infected with atherosclerosis?].

Atherosclerosis is one of the most important problems of the contemporary medicine and it is the most frequent reason of deaths in Western countries. Conventional risk factors are responsible for only 50% cases of atherosclerosis. Investigations performed over last 20 years revealed new risk factors, like for example bacterial and viral infections.
