Objectives: The objectives of this study were to present procedure- and device-associated adverse events (AEs) identified with long-term drug delivery via percutaneous endoscopic gastrojejunostomy (PEG-J). Levodopa-carbidopa intestinal gel (LCIG, also known in US as carbidopa-levodopa enteral suspension, CLES) is continuously infused directly to the proximal small intestine via PEG-J in patients with advanced Parkinson's disease (PD) to overcome slow and erratic gastric emptying and treat motor fluctuations that are not adequately controlled by oral or other pharmacological therapy.

Methods: An independent adjudication committee of three experienced (>25 years each) gastroenterologists reviewed gastrointestinal procedure- and device-associated AEs reported for PD patients (total n=395) enrolled in phase 3 LCIG studies.

Objective: To characterize the pharmacokinetics, safety, and tolerability of an extended-release formulation of trazodone hydrochloride (HCl), Trazodone Contramid® Once-a-Day (TzCOAD) developed as scored 150-mg and 300-mg caplets for oncedaily administration.

Methods: Relative bioavailability studies compared the pharmacokinetics of TzCOAD and trazodone immediate-release (TzIR) tablets following single- and multiple-dose administration. In addition, the effect of food on the pharmacokinetics of TzCOAD was assessed.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy, safety, and clinical benefit of a once-daily formulation of trazodone (Trazodone Contramid((c)) OAD) in the treatment of major depressive disorder.

Design/participants: In this double-blind study, 412 patients with major depressive disorder (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition criteria) were randomized 1:1 to receive either Trazodone Contramid OAD (150 to 375mg) or placebo. Treatment was titrated over two weeks to each individual optimal dose.

In this paper, we compare seven models on their ability to fit isometric muscle force. We stimulated the ankle dorsiflexors of eight subjects at seven ankle angles (85 degrees-120 degrees). Three different stimulation patterns (twitch, triangular, and random) were applied at all ankle angles.
