Morphology control of electrically conductive metal-organic frameworks (EC-MOFs) can be a powerful means to tune their surface area and carrier transport pathways, particularly beneficial for energy conversion and storage. However, controlling EC-MOFs' morphology is underexplored due to the uncontrollable crystal nucleation and rapid growth kinetics. This work introduces a microwave-assisted strategy to readily synthesize Cu-HHTP (HHTP = 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene) with controlled morphologies.

We aimed to use a mathematical model to investigate the anticipated impact of doxycycline PEP on the burden of gonorrhoea and antimicrobial resistance dynamics in men who have sex with men (MSM) in the USA.
Methods: Using a deterministic compartmental model, characterising gonorrhoea transmission in a US MSM population comprising three sexual activity groups defined by annual partner turnover rates, we introduced doxycycline PEP at various uptake levels (10-90%) among those with high sexual activity.
Objectives: Opioid usage in the trauma bay is a common practice for pain management. We evaluated the administration of opioids to patients with minimal injury to determine disposition and factors for opioid administration.
Methods: A retrospective study at a single institution was conducted utilizing records of trauma activations with an ISS of 3 or less between 1/1/2022 and 10/29/2022.
Background And Aims: HCC incidence is increasing worldwide due to the obesity epidemic, which drives metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) that can lead to HCC. However, the molecular pathways driving MASH-HCC are poorly understood. We have previously reported that male mice with haploinsufficiency of hypoxia-associated factor (HAF) ( SART1+/ - ) spontaneously develop MASH-HCC.

Advancement in technology with point-of-care (POC) testing can improve the overall treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI) in the emergency department (ED) by shortening the time to test result and administration of accurate treatment. The purpose of this study was to assess if the POC test reduced the rate of overtreatment for CT and/or NG compared to the standard-of-care (SOC) test.
