Clinical and optical coherence tomography biomarkers as prognostic factors in dexamethasone intravitreal implant for diabetic macular edema.

Purpose: Aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of dexamethasone (DEX) 0.7 mg intravitreal implant in patients with diabetic macular edema (DME) and serous retinal detachment (SRD), and to study the prognostic factors on a follow up of 12 months.

Methods: Forty eyes of twenty- six patients with centre involving DME and SRD, who underwent DEX implant, were enrolled.

Probabilistic (p-) computing is a physics-based approach to addressing computational problems which are difficult to solve by conventional von Neumann computers. A key requirement for p-computing is the realization of fast, compact, and energy-efficient probabilistic bits. Stochastic magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) with low energy barriers, where the relative dwell time in each state is controlled by current, have been proposed as a candidate to implement p-bits.

Importance of biofilm formation for promoting plant growth under salt stress in Pseudomonas putida KT2440.

An underutilized experimental design was employed to isolate adapted mutants of the model bacterium Pseudomonas putida KT2440.
