Despite health benefits to both infants and mothers, many are not breastfeeding as recommended by national guidelines. Prior studies examining the effects of housing insecurity and food insecurity on breastfeeding intention and duration have been limited and yielded mixed findings. To assess the relationship among housing insecurity, food insecurity, and breastfeeding, we conducted a secondary analysis of a cohort of nulliparous U.

Multi-omics studies in a humanized NSG-SGM3 BLT mouse model demonstrate human T cells: 1) are remarkably heterogenous in gene expression and numbers, and 2) exist as a mixed population of activated, progenitor-exhausted, and terminally-exhausted Th1/Th17 cells with increased expression of immune checkpoint proteins (LAG3, TIM-3).

Thus, we hypothesized that trabectedin, a myeloid cell-depleting agent, would improve the efficacy of IL-12 in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). In vitro treatment of healthy donor NK cells with trabectedin increased expression of the activation marker CD69 and mRNA expression of T BET (Tbx21), the cytotoxic ligands TRAIL (TNFSF10) and Fas ligand (FASLG) and the dendritic cell (DC)-recruiting chemokine lymphotactin (XCL1).

Current screening methods for 1p deletion like fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) analysis are resource-intensive. This study evaluated AlkaPhos, a novel fluorescent probe, for detecting alkaline phosphatase in meningioma cells and compared findings with FISH, LOH, and histochemical analysis.

Biofilm formation is associated with increased antibiotic resistance in many organisms, but accurate determination of antimicrobial susceptibility in biofilms is challenging.
