is known to cause diseases like damping-off, root rot, stem rot and fruit rot in a wide range of plants Eventhough many chemical methods have been demonstrated to have the potential to manage these diseases, their benefits are being offset equally by the negative side effects. Therefore, the control of spp. using natural antifungal agents is of immense significance due to its environmental safety.

The present study focused on the antibacterial and antibiofilm activity of novel lactic acid bacterial (LAB) strains isolated from the healthy human volunteers of different age groups and their consortium (LABCON), against the enteropathogenic bacteria. From the study, methanolic extract of LAB isolates and their consortia were found to have promising antibacterial activity and antibiofilm activity against Escherichia coli (ATCC 35218) and Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923). The antimicrobial compounds including the DL-3 phenyllactic acid, DL-p-hydroxyphenyllactic acid, and Succinic acid produced by the LAB could be considered to inhibit the growth and biofilm formation by E.

Comparative mitogenomics between lineages (L) at both species and family levels, evolutionary relationships and heterogeneity of sequence divergence within Decapoda, and divergence time estimation were performed. The characterized mitogenomes ranged from 15,685-15,705 bp in size and exhibited a typical pancrustacean pattern.

For this, impact of cinnamon essential oil (CEO), on the metabolomic profile of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Aspergillus flavus was analysed. Subsequently, PVA based nanocomposite films CEO, zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs), and nanocellulose (NC) were synthesised and characterized by FT-IR analysis.

Flavonoids epitomize structural scaffolds in many biologically active synthetic and natural compounds. They showcase a diverse spectrum of biological activities including anticancer, antidiabetic, antituberculosis, antimalarial, and antibiofilm activities. The antibiofilm activity of a series of new chalcones and flavonols against clinically significant Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 strain was studied.
