Objective: To verify the level of knowledge of Brazilian pediatricians about anaphylaxis, identifying sociodemographic and educational characteristics of the professional which contribute to the adequate management of this clinical disorder.

Methods: A survey was carried out on the management of anaphylaxis using a questionnaire prepared and distributed by email to pediatricians in different states in Brazil. The level of knowledge about anaphylaxis was classified as: satisfactory; unsatisfactory; more than satisfactory; ideal, according to evaluation criteria adopted for the statements of clinical cases that addressed the drug of choice, route of administration, positioning of the patient with anaphylaxis and recognition of the clinical case with differential diagnosis.

Cardiometabolic syndrome (CMS) is a complex clinical condition that encompasses metabolic dysregulation, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes risk factors. Worldwide, CMS is underdiagnosed, and its occurrence significantly increases cardiovascular morbimortality. Despite available pharmacological treatments, the approach is fragmented, and the associated clinical conditions are treated independently.

MolPredictX is a free-access web tool in which it is possible to analyze the prediction of biological activity of chemical molecules. MolPredictX has been available online to the general public for just over a year and has now gone through its first update. We also developed its version for android, being the first free app capable of predicting biological activities.

Background: Frailty is often more predictive of disease and mortality compared with chronological age. This study determined the impact of frailty on Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) risk and outcomes in a national veteran population.

Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of CDI and control veteran inpatients and outpatients from fiscal year 2003 to 2018.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify which factors, both objective and subjective, from a student pharmacist's background are significantly related to academic performance in the professional PharmD program.

Methods: Texas student pharmacists in their first three professional years during the 2022-2023 academic year were invited to participate in a 41-item survey to gather data on their undergraduate background, work experience, grit, and academic resilience. The survey responses were paired with the student pharmacist's cumulative grade point average (GPA) to assess the relationships between the variables and academic performance using Mann-Whitney U tests, Kruskal-Wallis tests, and Spearman's correlations.
