Evidence for Environmental Risk Factors and Cumulative Stress Linking Racial/Ethnic Identity and Psychotic-Like Experiences in ABCD Study Data.

Objective: Previous work has found increased endorsement of psychotic-like experiences (PLEs) among marginalized racial and ethnic groups. According to social determinants frameworks, marginalized groups are at increased risk for exposure to socio-environmental risk factors, including systemic factors (eg, poverty and poor housing conditions) and social stressors (eg, discrimination). We examine the extent to which environmental risk factors and stress account for associations between racial/ethnic groups with PLEs.

Background: Breast Cancer (BC) can be classified, due to its heterogeneity, into multiple subtypes that differ for prognosis and clinical management. Notably, triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) - the most aggressive BC form - is refractory to endocrine and most of the target therapies. In this view, taxane-based therapy still represents the elective strategy for the treatment of this tumor.

The influence of psychotic-like experiences on intent to seek treatment: Findings from a multi-site community survey of mental health experiences.

Psychotic-like experiences (PLEs) may reflect elevated risk for serious mental illness, including psychosis. Although some studies report an association between PLEs and increased service utilization, there is evidence of unmet need among individuals with PLEs, with few studies exploring the relation between PLEs and intent to seek treatment. Characterizing factors that underlie intent to seek treatment in individuals not otherwise engaged in treatment may assist in determining the role of PLEs and future intentions, and help prioritize symptoms of greatest significance.

The Past, Present, and Future of Psychotherapy Manuals: Protocol for a Scoping Review.

Background: Psychotherapy manuals are critical to the dissemination of psychotherapy treatments. Psychotherapy manuals typically serve several purposes, including, but not limited to, establishing new psychotherapy treatments, training providers, disseminating treatments to those who deliver them, and providing guidelines to deliver treatments with fidelity. Yet, the proliferation of psychotherapy manuals has not been well-understood, and no work has aimed to assess or review the existing landscape of psychotherapy manuals.
