Introduction And Hypothesis: Social media content related to patient experiences and education continues to grow. Information on how obstetric perineal lacerations are represented on social media is limited. Our goal is to characterize available social media content on obstetric perineal lacerations.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the short- and midterm outcomes of humeral head replacement with glenoid reaming arthroplasty (Ream and Run) for the treatment of advanced glenohumeral osteoarthritis, and to identify associations between preoperative factors and outcomes.
Methods: Forty-nine shoulders (mean age 60 ± 7 years) with minimum 2-year follow-up (mean 4.
Cyclosporine, a calcineurin inhibitor, is successfully used as an immunosuppressant in transplant medicine. However, the use of this pharmaceutical during pregnancy is concerning since calcineurin is thought to play a role in neural development. The risk for human brain development is difficult to evaluate because of a lack of basic information on the sensitive developmental times and the potentially pleiotropic effects on brain development and behavior.

We evaluated the influence of MAPT haplotypes on the expression of motor features in PD patients. We genotyped, for the MAPT haplotypes H1 and H2, a sample of 181 PD patients with distinct clinical subtypes: tremor dominant and non-tremor dominant (NTD).

Chronic activation of microglia may cause neuronal damage through the release of potentially cytotoxic molecules, such as pro-inflammatory cytokines. Different functional promoter polymorphisms within genes coding pro- or anti-inflammatory cytokines involved in the immune reactions in the brain might influence the risk of developing PD or the age of disease onset.
