Objective: We examined fluctuations in emergency department (ED) visits for nonspecific back and neck pain during the COVID-19 pandemic and explored potential contributing factors.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients who presented to the ED with nonspecific back and neck pain between January 2019 and December 2021. Demographic data, visit frequencies, and clinical outcomes were analyzed to assess the impact of the pandemic on visit patterns.

Objectives: This study examines the impact of pulmonary embolism (PE) on mortality among patients with femoral neck fractures, exploring the predictive value of preoperative PE for postoperative occurrences and associated mortality over a 5-year follow-up period.
Methods: We analyzed 2256 patients over 60 years old admitted with femoral neck fractures, focusing on those who developed DVT or PE postoperatively. Surgical intervention aimed within 48 hours without pharmacological thromboprophylaxis, utilizing mechanical prophylaxis instead.
Purpose: This study explores the use of ultrasound-guided Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injections for Insertional Achilles Tendinopathy (IAT).
Methods: A cohort of 15 ankles diagnosed with IAT received three weekly ultrasound-guided HA injections. The Victorian Institute of Sport Assessment - Achilles (VISA-A) questionnaire scored the severity of symptoms and functional impairment before treatment, and at one and six months post-treatment.
