Introduction: Top-down mechanisms that regulate attentional control are influenced by task demands and individuals' goals, while bottom-up processes are influenced by salient stimuli. Analogous networks are involved in both processes (e.g.

We report the case of a previously healthy female teenager presenting with unilateral leg swelling. Colour-Doppler ultrasound confirmed deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and the thrombophilia workup was negative.

These calculations are globally benchmarked against a wide range of experimental observables that include ultraviolet-visible linear absorption and circular dichroism (CD) spectra and Fe K-edge x-ray absorption near edge spectra (XANES). The calculations confirm the already established D geometry of the LS state, as well as a departure from this geometry for the HS state, with the appearance of inequivalent Fe-N bond elongations.

Yet the stability field of both phases remains debated. Here, we present the results of an ultrafast X-ray heating study utilizing MHz pulse trains produced by the European X-ray Free Electron Laser to create high temperature states of HO, which were probed using X-ray diffraction during dynamic cooling.
