According to the World Health Organization, human life expectancy has increased significantly around the world over the past century, but this process is inevitably accompanied by aging. Therefore, persons who have reached the elderly and senile age often become infirm, especially physically. As a result, such people find it increasingly difficult to make movements related to self-service and movement when using standard clothing and shoes.

[Orthopedic services as a tool of medical rehabilitation of patients with foot drop syndrome].

Objective: To study the features of the rehabilitation of patients with foot drop syndrome and to develop recommendations for the appointment of technical means of rehabilitation (TMR) for this pathology.

Material And Methods: Retrospective analysis of the survey data of 375 patients in need of lower limb orthosis was carried out. General clinical and biomechanical methods were used to study the disturbances of statodynamic function of the musculoskeletal system.

[The trends of population general morbidity in the subjects of the Central Federal Okrug of the Russian Federation].

The article presents the results of analysis of indices of total morbidity of population of the Central Federal Okrug (CFD) of the Russian Federation in 2010-2017. The significant differences in indices of total morbidity between the CFD subjects in certain ICD-10 classes were established. The indices of total morbidity of population during study period (8 years) in the Central Federal District factually didn't altered, while dynamics of indices in other subjects was characterized by multidirectionality.

Unlabelled: The background: the increased frequency of serious consequences of perinatal lesions in the central nervous system of the young children dictates the necessity to develop the effective methods of physiotherapy for the early-stage rehabilitation of such patients on the basis of an objective assessment of the adaptive reserves of the organism.

Material And Methods: The present study involved 53 children at the age from 1 to 12 months presenting with the consequences of perinatal lesions to the central nervous system. Thirty of the children were treated with the use of electrophoresis in the form of Polymineral wipes on the basis of natural iodine-bromine water.

[Palivizumab: four seasons in Russia].

In 2010, the Russian Federation (RF) registered palivizumab--innovative drug, based on monoclonal antibodies for passive immunization of seasonal respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in children of disease severe progress risk group, which include primarily premature infants, children with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and hemodynamically significant congenital heart disease. Currently, palivizumab is included in the list of recommended medicines and medical care standards of different countries, including Russia. In the review the results of Russian research on the progress of RSV infection, its epidemiology and immunization experience gained over the 2010-2014 period are summarized in relation to the foreign data.
