Background: Uncommon epidermal growth factor receptor () gene mutant locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has been poorly documented in the literature. Our study aimed to investigate the clinical features and outcomes associated with these mutations.

Methods: A multi-center retrospective study was conducted to review 511 patients with mutant unresectable stage III lung adenocarcinoma, treated between 2012 and 2018 across 12 Chinese institutions.

Background: The multicentre RESOLVE trial examined the efficacy of perioperative and postoperative S-1 and oxaliplatin (SOX) compared with postoperative capecitabine and oxaliplatin (CapOx) in gastric or gastro-oesophageal junction cancer. Initial analyses did not encompass overall survival owing to the immature data. This paper provides an updated analysis of the survival data from the RESOLVE trial.

Background: This research aimed to investigate differences in rumen fermentation characteristics between Karakul sheep and Hu sheep reared under identical conditions. The test subjects included newborn Hu and Karakul sheep, which were monitored across three stages: stage I (Weaning period: 15 ~ 30 days), stage II (Supplementary feeding period: 31 ~ 90 days), and stage III (Complete feeding period: 91 ~ 150 days). During the supplementary feeding period, cottonseed hulls were the main roughage source.

To tackle the problem of developing efficient adsorbents for the selective removal of copper ions from wastewater, this investigation focused on the synthesis of Fe-GO/MMT/SA and Al-GO/MMT/SA copper ion adsorbent materials (Fe-GMS and Al-GMS), respectively, by merging two distinct metal ions (Fe(III) and Al(III)) with sodium alginate (SA), graphene oxide (GO), and montmorillonite (MMT). By introducing metal ions with different coordination configurations, the slit structure and pore density of the adsorbents can be effectively controlled, thereby enhancing the selectivity for copper ion adsorption. The results show that Fe-GMS has excellent adsorption capacity for Cu(II) compared with Al(III), and the adsorption capacity and distribution coefficient are 116.

Caprine livestock are significant reservoirs of the complex (MTBC), contributing to tuberculosis (TB) transmission among animals and humans. The P22 protein immunocomplex (P22PI), derived from bovine tuberculin, shows immunostimulating capacity and is used for TB diagnosis. This study assessed the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of P22PI in two groups of goats: 24 naïve goats (12 immunised, 12 controls) from a TB-free herd, and 24 infected goats (12 immunised, 12 controls), referred to as pre-infected animals, from a -infected herd.
