This study aimed to reveal electrophysiological markers of communicative and cognitive dysfunctions of different severity in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Eyes-opened electroencephalograms (EEGs) of 42 children with ASD, divided into two groups according to the severity of their communicative and cognitive dysfunctions (24 with severe and 18 children with less severe ASD), and 70 age-matched controls aged 4-9 years were examined by means of spectral and group independent component (gIC) analyses. A predominance of theta and beta EEG activity in both groups of children with ASD compared to the activity in the control group was found in the global gIC together with a predominance of beta EEG activity in the right occipital region.

As people age, their performance on tasks requiring cognitive control often declines. Such a decline is frequently explained as either a general or specific decline in cognitive functioning with age. In the context of hypotheses suggesting a general decline, it is often proposed that processing speed generally declines with age.

In 2014, the first three comparisons of activity measurements of (18)F were carried out at the VNIIM, NPL and the ENEA-INMRI using the BIPM's Transfer Instrument of the International Reference System. The transfer instrument and the NMIs primary measurement methods are briefly described. The degrees of equivalence with the key comparison reference value defined in the frame of the corresponding SIR comparison have been evaluated.

The method of independent components within the range of 3-13 Hz was used for the analysis of EEG of the children with psychic abnormalities of perinatal origin. The research was undertaken while children were keeping awake with open eyes. In cases of harder developmental delay it was revealed a significant rise of θ-range power spectrum in frontal-temporal cortex areas of left hemisphere and temporal areas of right hemisphere.

This research represents MRI and EEG-investigation in children with mental disorders perinatal genesis during tDCS. In 70% cases brain structures damages don't found or were minimal. On the contrary, in 77% cases α-rhythm of EEG in parietal-occipital areas was non-regular.
