An interesting and unusual case of undifferentiated lymphoma, Burkitt's type, solely presenting as a submandibular mass in a 24-year-old white American man has been presented. The patient is under chemotherapy and careful follow-up and seems to be clinically free of residual disease.

The tumors, while histologically benign, were clinically aggressive, causing bone erosion and destruction and invading adjacent normal soft tissue structures with firm fibrous tumor extensions. In each instance, the lesion was completely removed by radical local surgery with no recurrence after a seven-year follow-up.

Initial surgical excision in this case was followed closely by a second more extensive local dissection in view of the pronounced tendency of the liposarcoma to infiltrate locally beyond the apparent limits of ite pseudocapsule.
