Introduction: In England, nearly a quarter of people with intellectual disability (PwID) have epilepsy. Though 70 % of PwID have pharmaco-resistant seizures only 10 % are prescribed anti-seizure medication (ASMs) licenced for pharmaco-resistance. Brivaracetam (BRV) licenced in 2016 has had nine post-marketing studies involving PwID.

Pairing an empirical household-level dataset spanning United States geographies together with modeled hourly energy demand curves, we show that rooftop solar reduces energy burden across a majority of adopters during our study period from a median of 3.3% to 2.

This study describes a 4-dimensional (4D) imaging platform to visualize and quantify hemostatic plug components in mice with high spatiotemporal resolution. Fibrin accumulation after laser-induced vascular injury was observed at the platelet plug-EC interface, controlled by the antagonistic balance between fibrin generation and breakdown.

How netrin-1 elicits these diverse axonal responses, beyond engaging the attractive receptor DCC and repulsive receptors of the UNC5 family, remains elusive. Here we demonstrate that murine netrin-1 induces biphasic axonal responses in cortical neurons: attraction at lower concentrations and repulsion at higher concentrations using both a microfluidic-based netrin-1 gradient and bath application of netrin-1.
