[Comparison of eprosartan and captopril in left ventricular systolic dysfunction: relation of efficacy to myocardial viability].

Patients with left ventricular ejection fraction below 45% (mean 39+/-3.7%) were randomized either to captopril (n=33) or eprosartan after miocardial infarction (n=33) on days 3-7 of myocardial infarction. All patients were subjected to echocardiography and 40 to perfusion myocardial scintigraphy with (99m)TC-Technetril.

[DNA diagnosis of porcine stress syndrome and RYRI genotype association with viability of young pigs].

A technique of rhyanodinreceptor gene (RYRI) typing was improved and applied for diagnostics of porcine stress syndrome. Genetic population analysis with respect to RYRI gene in the pigs of various breeds was made. Maximal distribution of the RYRI T-allele was observed in the Poltava Meaty pig population.
