This study examined the associations between age, adiposity, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and elevated blood pressure (BP) in 2901 Portuguese children and adolescents aged 2-18. BP, body mass index (BMI), waist-to-height ratio (WHtR), physical activity, and sedentary behavior were measured. Elevated BP was defined as a BP above the 90th percentile for age, sex, and height.

Introduction: This study evaluated the shaping ability of the single-file XP-endo Shaper (XP-S) system, employing an extended working time, and the Reciproc Blue number 40/.06 (REC) instrument during the preparation of oval-shaped canals.
Methods: Eleven pairs of contralateral premolars with a single canal were divided into two groups (n = 11) according to the canal preparation protocol: XP-S (with an additional 45 seconds of instrumentation) and REC.

However, a comprehensive understanding of the molecular epidemiology of these viruses in Brazil, a continental-size country and a crucial hub for the entry, circulation, and dissemination of influenza viruses within South America, still needs to be improved. This study addresses this gap by consolidating data and samples across all Brazilian macroregions, as part of the Center for Viral Surveillance and Serological Assessment project, together with an extensive number of other Brazilian sequences provided by a public database during the epidemic seasons spanning 2021-23.
