The process of curing the acrylic oligomers for rapid thermal curing coatings in the presence of hexa(methoxymethyl)melamine (HMMM), tetra(butoxymethyl)glycoluril (TBMG), and tetra(methoxymethyl)glycoluril (TMMG) has been studied. When HMMM is used as a hardener, the content of hydroxyl groups in the terpolymer and also the crosslinking agent concentration have little effect on the initial cure rate. It has been established that during the curing of the TMMG composition, the amount of the network polymer and the initial curing rate decrease at short curing times only.

Unlabelled: Clinical phenotypes of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) are characterized with different inflammation patterns of mRNA expression of cytokines and depend on presence of allergic rhinitis (AR), atopic bronchial asthma (aBA) or nonatopic bronchial asthma (nBA).

Objective: To compare inflammation response in patients with different phenotypes of CRSwNP according to level secretion of the key cytokines in nasal polyp tissue.

Material And Methods: 292 patients with CRSwNP were divided into four phenotypes: group 1 - CRSwNP without respiratory allergy (RA) and without BA; group 2a - CRSwNP+ AR with aBA; group 2b - CRSwNP+AR without aBA; group 3 - CRSwNP+nBA.

Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) has gained increased attention in academia since 1997. However, like other "Exia" conditions, there is debate around its inclusion in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. This study aimed to examine the experiences of those following a diet indicative of ON in the United Kingdom.

Background: To date, research on the dietary patterns of individuals with potential orthorexic symptoms is lacking. This cross-sectional pilot study aimed to explore the feasibility of assessing dietary patterns with psychological traits and states of individuals with possible orthorexic tendencies.

Methods: Dietary intakes of 10 individuals (two males and eight females) were assessed using 24-h recall.

Article Synopsis
  • Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) is a disordered eating behavior focused on maintaining a "healthy" lifestyle, and the ORTO-15 questionnaire is commonly used to identify it, although it has psychometric issues.
  • Fifty adults participated in the study, completing the ORTO-15 along with other assessments; qualitative "think aloud" data gave insights into their thought processes while answering the ORTO-15.
  • While the ORTO-15 identified a significant portion of participants with orthorexic tendencies, thematic analysis indicated that many items were poorly constructed, leading to discrepancies between actual symptoms and how the questionnaire assessed them.
