The temporomandibular (TMJ) and hand joints of 64 patients with psoriatic arthritis (PA) were examined radiographically with panoramic tomography and dorsovolar projection. The associations between radiographic signs in the condyle of the TMJ and finger joints were analyzed with Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. Twenty-six patients (41%) had radiographic signs in their TMJs.

A 27-year-old male patient with a parapharyngeal hemangiopericytoma was investigated radiologically with orthopantomography, computed tomography, and digital subtraction angiography before the operation. Because a malignancy was suspected, the patient was imaged with gamma camera using radiolabeled monoclonal anticarcinoembryonal antigen antibody including single photon emission computed tomography. The radioantibody accumulated strongly into the neoplasm.

The results of the double examination of the stomach in a series of 102 patients were compared with the findings at endoscopy. Nasogastric intubation was used to introduce the air into the stomach. Hypotonia was achieved mainly with glucagon.

Of the 34 patients treated surgically for oesophageal diverticula during a 17-year yperiod, 14 had Zenker's and 20 thoracic diverticula. In addition to three diverticular perforations, the selection of the patients for surgery was based on major symptomatology and roentgenological retention in the diverticulum. The most usual method was a simple diverticulectomy.
