Background: Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, leading to damage to various organs of the patients and a reduction of their life expectancy and quality of life (QOL). The aim of this study was to explore the determinants of the QOL based on the Problem Areas in Diabetes (PAID).
Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out in an Iranian diabetic clinic in Ardabil.
Background: Low health literacy is associated with high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this study was carried out to identify challenges of health literacy and strategies for its promotion in patients with acute coronary syndrome, using the patients҆ and nurses' experiences.
Methodology: Data gathering was done through applying semi-structured interviews with participation of 29 patients and nurses.

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe average nasal anthropometric measurements for young Egyptian males by using the Rhinobase software.
Materials And Methods: This was a cross-sectional study involving the evaluation of facial photographs. Frontal, right lateral and basal photographs for 300 healthy adult male Egyptian volunteers (n = 300) were taken; then, the photos were edited using Rhinobase Software and CorelDraw graphics (2017) software.
A 17-year-old female patient, known case of sickle cell anemia was admitted to our hospital with 10 days history of fever, vomiting, and epigastric pain. On examination, her temperature was 38°C. There was a vesicular type of rash below the nipple and over the left chest involving the back.

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a systemic malignancy of pathologic plasma cells that is treatable with chemotherapeutic agents and irradiation, but rarely curable. The spectrum of neurological complications of MM is diverse; however, involvement of MM in the cerebrospinal fluid and leptomeningeal infiltration is considered rare. There have been many reviews of central nervous system complications in MM but there are none on intracranial and leptomeningeal infiltration of MM.
