Coil embolization of persistent false lumen after stent graft repair of type B aortic dissection.

Patent false lumen after endovascular stent graft treatment of type B aortic dissection is a predictor for late death and retreatment. Between June 2008 and March 2010, five men with patent false lumen, due to a type B dissection previously treated with thoracic stent graft, underwent endovascular coiling treatment. Within a 30-day period, there were no deaths or major complications.
