Background: Alcohol consumption is a potentially modifiable risk factor for breast cancer (BC). Reducing alcohol consumption within the daily amount at low-risk for alcohol-related consequences (daily alcohol threshold) may contribute to preventing BC new cases. However, most women are unaware of risk factors for BC, the daily alcohol threshold, and how to measure alcohol use.

Sacroiliac joint (SIJ) tuberculosis (TB) is an infrequent clinical entity, especially in developed countries. The symptoms are usually non-specific, and therefore it may mimic a variety of degenerative and non-degenerative diseases, hampering the diagnosis. An interesting case of SIJ infection with psoas abscess in a 77-year-old male is presented in the current article.

Background: Vitamin D (vitD) deficiency could affect male reproductive function. Our objective was to investigate the relationship between serum vitD concentrations and hormonal and seminal parameters in infertile patients and to compare the results with those in healthy controls.
