From electrochemical potentiodynamic and potentiostatic techniques, the electrodeposition mechanism and kinetics of palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs) onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE), from Pd(II) ions dissolved in the choline chloride-urea deep eutectic solvent (reline) at 343 K, are reported for the first time. From the analysis of the potentiostatic current density transients, using the model developed by Palomar-Pardavé et al. [ , 2005, 50, 4736-4745], it shows that the PdNPs electrodeposition occurs by multiple 3D nucleation and diffusion controlled-growth with the simultaneous reduction of residual water on the PdNPs growing surfaces.

Symmetric spherical harmonic functions were used to estimate the material's corrosion resistance from crystallographic texture measurements. The predictions of the average corrosion resistance index made from the crystallographic texture were in good agreement with those obtained from potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements for the studied steels.

These alloys were seeded with 10,000 L929 fibroblast cells and immersed for 7 days in the cell culture at 37 °C, pH 7.40, 5% CO₂ and 100% relative humidity.

After each treatment, globular and lamellar microstructures were obtained. Saos-2 pre-osteoblast human osteosarcoma cells were seeded onto Ti6Al4V alloy disks and immersed in cell culture for 7 days.

These compounds were tested as corrosion inhibitors on aluminum alloy AA6061 in diluted sulfuric acid (0.1-1 M H₂SO₄) by weight loss tests, polarization resistance measurements and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy.
