[Behavioral disorders in children and adolescents with intellectual disability].

The relevance of the study of behavioral disorders in children and adolescents with intellectual disability is determined by the fact that the problem is at the intersection of different disciplines (psychiatry, psychology, pedagogics, sociology, criminology). Also, there are difficulties in analyzing the interaction between biological and social factors in etiology of such disorders. The review article discusses various aspects of behavioral disorders in children and adolescents with intellectual disability - the historical background, prevalence, etiology and pathogenesis, clinical picture.

[Is transferrin a neurotrophic factor controlling myosin composition of the skeletal muscle?].

After transferrin injection to the slow m. soleus of guinea pig no immunohistochemical changes in myosin composition with monoclonal antibodies (AB) against fast myosin heavy chain (HCf) have been found. All muscles fibers in intact and experimental animals were identified as slow ones (type I of muscle fibers).
