While transgender and gender non-binary (trans/nb) individuals are disproportionately affected by HIV, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) uptake remains low in this underserved population. After the first successful case of intravenous BT to treat a systemic MDR infection at our institution in 2017, the Center for Innovative Phage Applications and Therapeutics (IPATH) was created at the University of California, San Diego, in June 2018.
Methods: We reviewed IPATH consult requests from June 1, 2018, to April 30, 2020, and reviewed the regulatory process of initiating BT on a compassionate basis in the United States.

Objective: To assess the natural history of cervical dysplasia during pregnancy and determine the rates for progression or regression post-partum by the severity of the lesion.
Method: This was a retrospective study of 100 patients screened by PAP smear. Lesions were graded by colposcopy and biopsy, and followed post-partum.
Objective: To show that infants delivered prematurely because of preterm premature rupture of the membranes (PPROM) show a tendency for asymmetric intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR). At the same time, to demonstrate that these pregnancies exhibit nutritional deprivation by the presence of correspondingly smaller placentas, as demonstrated by the placental-fetal ratio.Study Design: A prospective study was performed over 2 years comparing the tendency for IUGR in infants born of pregnancies with PPROM (N = 86), as compared to normal term controls (N = 351).
