Children whose parents work on industrial enterprises were found to have higher heavy metals content of hair, when compared to the children of nonindustrial enterprises workers. That proves pollutants transmission into living area by industrial workers (on clothes, shoes, etc) and determines this pollution source as a potential factor of hygienic risk for children.

The author studied cadmium distribution in industrial dust released through technologic processes in plants of Saransk. All dust types demonstrate significant total amount of cadmium and are important sources of urban area pollution with the metal. Some part of cadmium forms a mobile portion of dust--that increases possibility of negative influence of industrial dust on humans and urban environment.

Insufficiency of anastomosis is one of the main causes of peritonitis. Progressed cachexia due to great losses through intestinal fistulas in combination with peritonitis was the indication to jejunostoma creation. Jejunostomy by Middle in the treatment of postoperative peritonitis due to sutures insufficiency of upper anastomosis of gastrointestinal tract permits to optimize treatment: to realize adequate enteral nutrition, intestinal decompression, to return fistula's losses.
