DNA aptamer RA36 with a molecular weight of 10000 is direct-acting anticoagulant whose efficacy is lower than that of recombinant hirudin and unfractionated heparin (UFH) in blood clotting time (BCT), activated blood recalcification time (ABRT), recalcification time (RT), prothrombin time (PT), and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) tests. The anticoagulant effect of RA36 is comparable with that of UFH in the thrombin time (TT) test, but is lower than the effect of recombinant hirudin. Analysis of the blood and plasma anticoagulant activity during intravenous bolus administration of aptamer RA36 in rabbits and rats is based on the use ABRT (in blood case) and APTT/RT (in plasma case) tests.

The possible use of hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant in the local treatment of the sewage in antibiotic production was investigated. The data on oxidation of SASs and other pollutants in antibiotic production by hydrogen peroxide alone or in the presence of ferrous sulfate as a homogenous catalyst are presented. The influence of the sewage preliminary treatment by hydrogen peroxide on the foaming was studied.

The data on the hydrogen peroxide oxidation of surface active substances (SAS) and other pollutants contained in the waste fermentation broth filtrates of antibiotic production are presented. The efficiency of the sewage treatment increased in the presence of FeSO4, a homogeneous catalyst. The influence of the pH value on the efficiency of the treatment was studied with the use of model solutions of the SASs and addition of H2O2.
