Background: Vasectomy is a safe and effective contraceptive option available to men, yet the practice is very low. The study aimed to assess the knowledge and willingness to accept vasectomy as a method of family planning among male married workers in a university in Enugu, Nigeria.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted among 405 male married workers in a tertiary institution in Enugu, Nigeria.

Background: Despite the numerous intervention programmes, HIV still remains a public health concern with a high impact in Sub-Saharan Africa region. Oxidative stress has been documented in HIV subjects as viral infection promotes prolonged activation of immune system, hence, production of increased reactive oxygen species.
Methods: We studied 180 subjects.
Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) is defined as the presence of typical symptoms of heart failure (HF) and a left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40%. HFrEF patients constitute approximately 50% of all patients with clinical HF. Despite breakthrough discoveries and advances in the pharmacologic management of HF, HFrEF patients continue to pose a significant economic burden due to a progressive disease characterized by recurrent hospitalizations and need for advanced therapy.
