In this case report, we describe a successful unplanned vaginal breech birth (VBB) for a primigravid woman who presented to the hospital in labor. This woman transferred to our hospital from an attempted home birth and was highly motivated to achieve a vaginal birth. The staff were recently trained on the provision of physiologic breech birth support, and after receiving informed consent, they facilitated a successful VBB.

The corpus callosum plays a critical role in inter-hemispheric communication by coordinating the transfer of sensory, motor, cognitive, and emotional information between the two hemispheres. However, as part of the normal aging process, the corpus callosum undergoes significant structural changes, including reductions in both its size and microstructural integrity. These age-related alterations can profoundly impact the brain's ability to coordinate functions across hemispheres, leading to a decline in various aspects of sensory processing, motor coordination, cognitive functioning, and emotional regulation.

Unlabelled: Understanding pancreatic cancer biology is fundamental for identifying new targets and for developing more effective therapies. The gut and vaginal microbiome undergo changes during pregnancy which may be protective or harmful to the birthing person. Probiotics have been found to cause protective changes to the gut and vaginal microbiomes, with the potential to improve perinatal outcomes. This randomized control trial compares the vaginal and rectal microbiomes before and after an antenatal probiotic or placebo intervention, with a diverse group of pregnant people and a special focus on racial disparities.
