[Effect of pentagastrin on the closing pressure of the inferior esophageal sphincter and gastroesophageal reflux].

By means of pull--through perfusion manometry and by means of continuous intraoesophageal pH measurements comparative study on a uniform group of patients (n = 34) has shown that pentagastrin (Acignost R) at a dosage of 6 mg/kg body weight administered subcutaneously increases mean sphincter pressure and total reflux duration.
