A conjugate of vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) with protoporphyrin IX was prepared, and its oncolytic effects were studied and compared to the effects of the individual components. The VSV showed an oncolytic effect on glioblastoma cell lines T98G and LN229 at a virus titer of 10 TCID/mL.

Methods: We retrospectively studied 25,591 women with available electronic health records and genetic data, participants in the Healthy Nevada Project.
Results: Family history of breast cancer was ascertained on or after the record of breast cancer for 78% of women with both, indicating that this risk assessment method is not being properly utilized for early screening.
Noninvasive, rapid, and robust diagnostic techniques for clinical screening of tumors located in arbitrary areas of the human body are in demand. To address this challenge, we analyzed the feasibility of photoplethysmography-based angiography for assessing vascular structures within malignant and benign tumors. The proposed hardware and software were approved in a clinical study involving 30 patients with tumors located in the legs, torso, arms, and head.
