Food Safety Knowledge, Attitudes, Practices, and Associated Factors Among Adult Consumers in Bangladesh: Findings From a Nationwide Cross-Sectional Survey.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the food safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of Bangladeshi consumers and investigate their associations with various demographic factors.

Methods: This national cross-sectional study utilized a face-to-face survey using a structured questionnaire to recruit 1400 adult consumers between September 2022 and November 2022. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to determine the factors associated with the food safety KAP.

Influence of herbal supplementation on nutrient digestibility, blood biomarkers, milk yield, and quality in tropical crossbred cows.

Herbal supplements containing diverse phytochemicals have been proven to improve digestibility, beneficial serum metabolites, milk yield, and quality in cows. However, the temperature sensitivity of phytochemicals in herbs complicates their practical use as livestock supplements. In response, this study aimed to assess how shade-dried plantain, lemongrass, and their combination influence cow performance, digestibility, serum and milk antioxidants, and milk fatty acids.

Cross-national variation in the prevalence and correlates of current use of reusable menstrual materials: Analysis of 42 cross-sectional surveys in low-income, lower-middle-income, and upper-middle-income countries.

Objectives: This study investigates the prevalence of the use of reusable menstrual materials in LMICs, examines differences in prevalence between countries and areas, and identifies individual and country-level factors associated with their use.

Methods: Data from Multiple Indicator Cluster surveys conducted between 2017 and 2020 in LMICs were used. Prevalence estimates and 95% CIs were calculated for overall, rural, and urban areas.

Enhancing image caption generation through context-aware attention mechanism.

Image captioning, the process of generating natural language descriptions based on image content, has garnered attention in AI research for its implications in scene understanding and human-computer interaction. While much prior research has focused on caption generation for English, addressing low-resource languages like Bengali presents challenges, particularly in producing coherent captions linking visual objects with corresponding words. This paper proposes a context-aware attention mechanism over semantic attention to accurately diagnose objects for image captioning in Bengali.

Functional structures assembled based on Au clusters with practical applications.

The advancement of gold nanoclusters (Au NCs) has given rise to a new era in fabricating functional materials due to their controllable morphology, stable optical properties, and excellent biocompatibility. Assemblies based on Au NCs demonstrate significant potentiality in constructing multiple structures as acceptable agents in applications such as sensing, imaging technology, and drug delivery systems. In addition, the assembled strategies illustrate the integration mechanism between each component while facing material requirement.
