Background: Biosimilars have the potential to save a significant amount of money in cancer treatment costs. However, barriers exist in the adoption of biosimilar products. Japan introduced a new health policy in 2022 to promote the use of biosimilars in oncology by offering financial incentives to eligible hospitals.

Background: Previous studies have demonstrated geographical disparities regarding the quality of care for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The aim of this study was two-fold: first, to calculate the proportion of patients with AMI who received primary percutaneous coronary interventions (pPCIs) by secondary medical areas (SMAs), which provide general inpatient care, as a quality indicator (QI) of the process of AMI practice. Second, to identify patterns in their trajectories and to investigate the factors related to regional differences in their trajectories.

Article Synopsis
  • Improving the efficiency of edible biomass space use (EBSUE) is crucial for sustainable production of edamame and dwarf tomatoes in artificial light plant factories.
  • The study investigates how different levels of photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) affect EBSUE and space use efficacy (SUE) in these crops, showing that higher PPFDs lead to better outcomes in both.
  • Results indicate that while both crops benefit from higher PPFD, the relationship between EBSUE and SUE differs, providing insights into optimizing resource usage in vertical farming systems.

The effect of the ratio of red and blue light on fruit biomass radiation-use efficiency (FBRUE) in dwarf tomatoes has not been well studied. Additionally, whether white light offers a greater advantage in improving radiation-use efficiency (RUE) and FBRUE over red and blue light under LED light remains unknown. In this study, two dwarf tomato cultivars ('Micro-Tom' and 'Rejina') were cultivated in three red-blue light treatments (monochromatic red light, red/blue light ratio = 9, and red/blue light ratio = 3) and a white light treatment at the same photosynthetic photon flux density of 300 μmol m s.
