Background: Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy is the first-choice technique for investigating the majority of small bowel diseases. Its most common complications are related to incomplete examinations and capsule retention. There is no consensus on how patients with previous gastrointestinal surgery should receive the capsule.

Recent observations of large-scale molecular outflows in ultraluminous infrared galaxies support this quasar-feedback idea, because they directly trace the gas from which stars form. Theoretical models suggest that these outflows originate as energy-conserving flows driven by fast accretion-disk winds.

Because of the large obscuration of these disks at optical and infrared wavelengths in the early protostellar stages (class 0 sources), they were previously detected only at radio wavelengths using interferometric techniques. We have detected with the Infrared Space Observatory the mid-infrared (mid-IR) emission associated with the class 0 protostar VLA1 in the HH1-HH2 region located in the Orion nebula.

The lines were observed with the long-wavelength spectrometer in the grating mode on board the Infrared Space Observatory, covering the 43-197 µm wavelength range. The transitions from Jup=14 up to Jup=19 have been identified across the whole OMC-1 core, and lines up to Jup=43 have been detected toward the central region, KL/IRc2.

All C2H2 bands and the strong near-infrared stretching bands of HCN are observed in absorption, whereas the fundamental, hot, and combination bands of HCN involving the nu2 bending mode around 14 µm are observed in emission. Particularly strong is the HCN nu2=20-->nu2=11 vibrational transition at 14.
