Complex breast cysts (CBC) are characterized by a high (up to 31.0%) oncological potential and the need for a biopsy. In some clinical situations, navigating a biopsy using mammography (MG), ultrasound (US), endoscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be difficult.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the capabilities of ductography (DG) to navigate stereotactic core-needle biopsy (sCNB) for localizing and differentiating intraductal benign and malignant proliferations of the breast in patients with pathological nipple discharge (PND).

Materials And Methods: Patients underwent physical, radiological, ultrasound, endoscopic and histopathological examinations.

Results: The study included 183 patients.

Introduction: The surveillance of influenza viruses in ARVI structure and study of their properties in epidemic season 2019-2020 in Russian Federation are actual for investigations due to tasks of Global Influenza Strategy initiated by WHO in 2019.

Material And Methods: The data of epidemiological surveillance on influenza- and ARVI-associated morbidity and hospitalization in different age groups of population were analyzed; virological, genetic and statistical methods were used.

Results: Preschool children were involved in epidemic the most.

Mitochondrial (mt) and chloroplast (ct) genome inheritance was studied in barley-wheat hybrids, as were their progenies obtained from backcrosses with different common wheat cultivars, by monitoring the composition of 4 mtDNA (coxI, a 5'-flanking region of cob, nad3-orf156, and 5'-upstream region of 18S/5S) and 2 ctDNA (simple-sequence repeat locus downstream of trnS and a 3'-flanking region of rbcL) loci. In male sterile F1 and BC1 plants, maternal barley mtDNA fragments were mainly detected and very low levels of paternal wheat fragments were occasionally detected by PCR in coxI, a 5'-flanking region of cob and nad3-orf156, whereas a 5'-upstream region of 18S/5S showed clear heteroplasmy, containing both maternal and paternal copies, with maternal copies prevailing. Plants showing such heteroplasmic mtDNA composition remained either semisterile or became completely sterile in the later backcross generations.
