To define the risk factors of post-operative voiding dysfunction according to the type of surgical procedure performed. A systematic review through PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases was performed. The Medical Subject Headings terms aimed for English articles about colorectal endometriosis surgery and voiding dysfunction published until December 26, 2022 were used.

Chalcogenide glasses in the NaS-GeS-GaS pseudoternary system were synthesized using a combination route of melt-quenching and mechanical-milling methods. First, a glass rich in germanium (90GeS-10GaS) is synthesized by melt-quenching synthesis in a silica tube sealed under vacuum. This glass is used as a precursor for the second step of mechanochemistry to explore the NaS-GeS-GaS pseudoternary system.

Exploring magnetic properties at the molecular level is a challenge that has been met by developing many experimental and theoretical solutions, such as polarized neutron diffraction (PND), muon-spin rotation (μ-SR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), SQUID-based magnetometry measurements, and advanced modeling on open-shell systems and relativistic calculations. These methods are powerful tools that shed light on the local magnetic response in specifically designed magnetic materials such as contrast agents, for MRI, molecular magnets, magnetic tags for biological NMR, etc. All of these methods have their advantages and disadvantages.

NaGaS is a newly discovered compound that has already shown great promise for a variety of applications because of its layered structure and ion exchange properties. In this work, crystalline NaGaS has been synthesized by an alternative method to what has been previously published, namely, by mechanochemistry, either by a direct one-step process or by a two-step process. In the one-step process, crystalline NaGaS is directly formed by milling sodium sulfide NaS and gallium(III) sulfide GaS.

Background: Monitoring the ecological status of coastal ecosystems is essential to track the consequences of anthropogenic pressures and assess conservation actions. Monitoring requires periodic measurements collected in situ, replicated over large areas and able to capture their spatial distribution over time. This means developing tools and protocols that are cost-effective and provide consistent and high-quality data, which is a major challenge.
