The problem is first transformed, using a Páde approximation, to one without a time-delayed argument. By a suitable change of variable, the obtained non-delay infinite-horizon optimal control problem is converted to a finite-horizon nonlinear optimal control problem.

Introduction: Pemphigus comprises of a group of autoimmune bullous disorders with intraepithelial lesions involving the skin and mucous membranes. Pemphigus is characterized histologically by an intraepidermal blister and immunopathologically by the finding of bound immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies against desmosomal adhesion proteins on the surface of keratinocytes. Indirect immunofluorescence for IgG is considered as a gold standard method for diagnosis of this group of bullous disorders on the condition that fresh frozen tissue is accessible.

Objective: To assess the long-term safety and efficacy in NMOSD patients receiving maintenance therapy with B-cell-depleting agent rituximab for more than 2 years.
Method: NMOSD patients were included prospectively from 2014 to 2018 and received continuous cycles of rituximab infusions biannually.
Solid calcium oxide (CaO) catalyst was prepared via the calcination of chicken eggshells as an environmentally friendly waste resource and incorporated in a continuous centrifugal contactor separator (CCCS) for intensified biodiesel synthesis. Biodiesel or fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) were produced via the transesterification of sunflower oil (containing 5 wt % tetrahydrofuran as a cosolvent) with methanol under 60 °C and separated from the glycerol and catalyst phases continuously in the CCCS. The influence of reaction parameters on biodiesel production was well modeled by response surface methodology.
