Unlabelled: To evaluate the pathological variables predictive of biochemical recurrence after radical prostatectomy and their implications for decision making in the adjuvant setting.
Methods: 684 patients with localized prostate cancer who were treated with radical prostatectomy between 1996 and 2007. Before surgery they were classified according to D'Amico risk groups for recurrence.
Radical Radiotherapy constitutes a useful therapeutic option for localized prostate cancer. Almost one third of prostate cancer patients choose this alternative to treat the disease. Despite modifications in the technique as intensity modulation, 3D conformational radiotherapy or computer-assisted brachytherapy, a significant percentage of these patients will show an increase in PSA values after radiation.

Here were describe the clinical and anatomical characteristics of melanoma along with the endogenous and exogenous risk factors in 120 patients diagnosed with cutaneous melanoma in a health care area of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain.
Patients And Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was undertaken in patients diagnosed with melanoma between January 1999 and July 2005 in the health care area served by Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
There is a well-established association of vitiligo with autoimmune conditions, and circulating autoantibodies to melanocytes have been demonstrated in the serum of patients with vitiligo. We present a case of repigmentation of vitiligo lesions in a girl with celiac disease after initiating a gluten-free diet, which to our knowledge has not been reported.
