Photofragment translational spectroscopy has been used to characterize the energetics and the cross sections for photodissociation of CHI and CFI adsorbed on thin films of a variety of aromatic molecules, initiated by near-UV light. Thin films (nominally 10 monolayers) of benzene, five substituted benzenes and two naphthalenes have been employed to study systematic changes in the photochemical activity. Illumination of these systems with 248 nm light is found to result in a dissociation process for the CHI and CFI mediated by initial absorption in the aromatic thin film, followed by electronic energy transfer (EET) to the dissociating species.

Materials And Methods: A typodont tooth model, simulating the anatomy of the root canal of a central incisor, was utilized for the study. Two groups were formed, Group A and Group B, and each group provided a total of 18 impressions of two types: DIs and VPS impressions.
Introduction: The gut microbiome, allegedly involved in both healthy homeostasis and development of disease, is found to be associated with several types of cancer. Short chain fatty acids (SCFAs), important metabolites derived from the gut microbiota, are described to carry both protective and promoting features in cancer development. Limited research exists on neuroendocrine tumors (NET) and their association with microbiota derived SCFAs.

Content uploaded onto social media platforms can be an important source of healthcare information. This scoping review aimed to collate and synthesize data from studies that investigated the quality of information communicated through these platforms.
