Background: In most cases, lateral patellar dislocation (LPD) is accompanied by chondral injury and may initiate gradual degeneration of patellar cartilage, which might be detected with a T mapping, a well-established method for cartilage lesions assessment.
Purpose: To examine short-term consequences of single first-time LPD in teenagers by T mapping of the patellar-cartilage state.
Study Type: Prospective.
The allelic dosage of disease and pest resistance genes was determined in 11 prospective potato varieties and hybrids by means of detecting the corresponding PCR DNA markers in their progeny from crosses with specially selected testers. It was revealed that most (65%) resistance genes in the analyzed parental lines were present as a single dominant allele (simplex). Nevertheless, we were able to find some multiplex lines valuable for breeding.

The comprehensive rehabilitation of such children requires the use of both medicamental and-non-medicamental factors. The objective of the present study was to address the problem of school disadaptation based on the improvement of memory and attention in children presenting with the attention deficit syndrome and hyperactivity by means of inclusion of hypoxically hypercapnic training in the program of comprehensive rehabilitation with the use ofa Karbonik respiratory training system.

A possibility of interference of measurement results in the blood metabolite pool should be taken into account in the use of high-technology methods of laboratory analysis. In particular, there may be changes in the detection of immunological and molecular biological methods in hyperpyruvatemia and hyperoxaloacetatemia, with elevated peroxide concentrations during pathological processes.

Certain features in the levels of protein, carbohydrate, lipid, and mineral metabolic parameters were revealed in relation to various blood groups.
