The flow and heat transfer of a steady, viscous biomagnetic fluid containing magnetic particles caused by the swirling and stretching motion of a three-dimensional cylinder has been investigated numerically in this study. Because fluid and particle rotation are different, a magnetic field is applied in both radial and tangential directions to counteract the effects of rotational viscosity in the flow domain. Partial differential equations are used to represent the governing three-dimensional modeled equations.

Of concern in the paper is a theoretical investigation of boundary layer flow of a biomagnetic fluid and heat transfer on a stretching/shrinking sheet in the presence of a magnetic dipole. The problem has been treated mathematically by using Lie group transformation. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations are thereby reduced to a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations subject to associated boundary conditions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the hemodynamic significance of various degrees of coronary area of stenosis (AS) and multiple sequential stenoses (MSS) in normal and hypertension pressure conditions. MSS in a single branch coronary artery pose challenges to determine the physiological assessment in the prevalent invasive intervention. The hemodynamic parameters of each stenosis are influenced by other stenoses in the single branch of MSS coronary artery.

This paper presents an innovated method for the discrimination of groundwater samples in common groups representing the hydrogeological units from where they have been pumped. This method proved very efficient even in areas with complex hydrogeological regimes. The proposed method requires chemical analyses of water samples only for major ions, meaning that it is applicable to most of cases worldwide.
