A Qualitative Phenomenological Study of the Lived Experiences of Female Sex Workers in a Bangladesh Brothel.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of female sex workers in the Kandapara Brothel in Tangail to build a better understanding of their lived perspective.

Design: This qualitative study was based on the philosophical underpinnings of Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological philosophy.

Methods: A purposive, convenience sample of 24 participants (N = 24) was recruited in the brothel, sufficient for data saturation.

Mental health problems among the working population represent a growing concern with huge impacts on individuals, organizations, compensation authorities, and social welfare systems. Although there has been rapid expansion of workplace mental health interventions over recent decades, clear direction around appropriate, evidence-based action remains limited.

A Method to Determine Capabilities and Resources for Spacecraft Medical Systems.

This paper describes the method for assigning medical diagnostic and treatment capabilities and resources to the database which assists with an updated probabilistic risk analysis (PRA) tool for exploration class medical system planning. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has used PRA since 2011 to inform mission medical system design, but existing tools are designed only for low Earth orbit. An updated PRA tool was needed to assist with exploration class missions.

Efficacy and safety of a 4-week course of repeated subcutaneous ketamine injections for treatment-resistant depression (KADS study): randomised double-blind active-controlled trial.
