[Treatment of necrotizing infection in patients with chronic arterial insufficiency of the lower extremities].

Objective: To analyze the effectiveness of complex therapy of necrotizing infection using the original method of stimulation of angiogenesis in patients with chronic arterial insufficiency of the lower extremities.

Material And Methods: In 53 patients, operations were performed using the proposed technologies for stimulation of angiogenesis. A control group consisting of 56 patients was formed to compare the results of treatment.

Growth of R-, S-, and M-dissociates of Rhodococcus rubropertinctus in mixed culture with R-, S-, and M-dissociates of Rhodococcus aeruginosa in comparison with rhodococcus monoculture cultivated on mineral nutrient medium with hexadecane has been studied. The amount of cells in the stationary growth phase has increased 10-15 times in comparison with the monoculture, and pseudomonads which dominated in population, in associations of M-dissociate of R. rubropertinctus with any dissociate of R.

[Unilateral intracavernous phalloprosthetics of erectile dysfunction].

258 patients with erectile dysfunction have undergone incomplete intracavernous phalloprosthetic operation (ICFPO) to maximally preserve unaffected cavernous tissue. Indications for this procedure are formulated. Adequate axial stability of the phallus after ICFPO was ensured by improved design of the monolithic polyethylene rod.

[The advisability of performing excretory urography in renal colic].

Basing on their experience with 1115 cases of prehospitalization excretory urography, the authors think it misleading to reject excretory urography at the height of renal colic because normal kidney completely excretes contrast medium. It is shown that a part of the latter is deposited by the affected kidney and fills the upper urinary tracts up to the level of the obstacle causing acute urostasis. Excretory urography at the height of renal colic is valid in hospitals with 24-hour x-ray service and in cases of urgent surgery.
