A 79-year-old man with fatigue and melena was diagnosed with severe iron-deficiency anemia. Capsule endoscopy revealed submucosal vascular lesions in the jejunum and active bleeding in the ileum, consistent with Blue Rubber Bleb Nevus Syndrome (BRBNS). Exploratory laparoscopy led to the resection of a 120 cm intestinal segment, confirming the diagnosis.

Objectives: We investigated the occurrence and relative contribution of relapse-associated worsening (RAW) and progression independent of relapse activity (PIRA) to confirmed disability accrual (CDA) and transition to secondary progression (SP) in relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS).

Methods: Relapsing-onset MS patients with follow-up > / = 5 years (16,130) were extracted from the Italian MS Registry. CDA was a 6-month confirmed increase in Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) score.

Italy is the world leader in the production of pasta and the Italian market is characterized by strong price competition among large industrial producers. Thus, recently, many small and medium firms have started to differentiate their products as a way to achieve higher margins and escape from price competition. Using data on the prices and characteristics of dried pasta sold online in the Italian market and a hedonic price model, we estimated the implicit prices associated with several attributes that are currently available for dried pasta.
