Objective: To identify the most effective treatment modality for achieving favorable outcomes in early glottic tumors with anterior commissure involvement (ACI).

Review Methods: Random-effects proportional meta-analysis model is used to evaluate the oncological and functional outcomes of transoral laser microsurgery (TLM) versus radiation therapy (RT) in early glottic (T1-T2) cancer with ACI.
Promoters of developmental genes in embryonic stem cells (ESCs) are marked by histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) and H3K27me3 in an asymmetric nucleosomal conformation, with each sister histone H3 carrying only one of the two marks. These bivalent domains are thought to poise genes for timely activation upon differentiation. Here, we show that asymmetric bivalent nucleosomes recruit repressive H3K27me3 binders but fail to enrich activating H3K4me3 binders, thereby promoting a poised state.

Methods: A template thematic analysis and matrix analysis of 10 interviews and 3 focus groups with 37 older women identifying as White non-Hispanic, Black, or Hispanic/Latinx were conducted.
Results: VHs can foster positive relationships with older women during clinical trial education by communicating social support.
Optically interfaced molecular spins are a promising platform for quantum sensing and imaging. Key for such applications is optically detecting coherent spin manipulation at room temperature. Here, using the photoexcited triplet state of organic chromophores (pentacene doped in p-terphenyl), we optically detect coherent spin manipulation with photoluminescence contrasts exceeding 15% at room temperature, both in a molecular crystal and thin film.
